My girlfriend and I recently got engaged. On 04 August 2012, we scouted for possible churches for the wedding starting with the churches in the San Miguel / Mendiola areas bringing a camera to take sample photos.
Our first stop was the San Beda College chapel which we learned no longer accommodates weddings. A bit disappointed, we proceeded to (and eventually chose) the National Shrine of St. Michael and the Archangels. Going there, we passed the College of the Holy Spirit and saw a young man holding a bunch of flowers sitting on the sidewalk while patiently waiting for a girl (whom he may be courting) to step out of the school gate.
We found it so sweet that we just had to document it and walked away with a decent photograph.
To the young man we saw that day; thank you for demonstrating and reminding us of one very simple truth…that real love will wait and will never be tired by waiting. We sincerely hope you won the heart of your girl.
This is my entry to “Love as I see it.” A project of www.islandrose.net flowers Philippines .
